NRASTC Courses (National Rescue Test for Swimming Teachers and Coaches)

Pure Training is pleased to announce that we will be running a National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC) course at Ipswich High School for Girls, Woolverstone in the near future.

This course is considered to be a suitable level of rescue expertise for anyone who teaches or coaches a programmed aquatic activity.

The NRASTC qualification also counts as CPD points towards an ASA/UKCC Teacher/Coach license.

Candidates must be 16 years of age or over and be able to demonstrate the following: Swim 40 metres comfortably (20m on their front and 20m on their back)
Dive to the deepest part of the pool and recover the submersible manikin

6th Edition

Dates: Sat 7th and Sun 8th January 2017
Times: 9am – 5pm on Saturday and 8am – 5pm on Sunday
Cost: £100 (includes course manual and assessment fee)

(*candidates with a current qualification can just attend on the Sunday if they wish)
